Introduction:

BooksIt is, in effect, the start point for anyone involved in the delivery of learning. The course is part of the National Qualifications Framework and is set at Level 3 which has equivalency to A level standard.

Course structure: This course is a five week learning programme split into two phases. The first phase of three days is when the principles of the course are covered. Then the delegate has four weeks to complete four assignments and prepare two micro-teaching sessions. During this time Tutor support is provided including a dedicated internet forum. The second phase is another three days to complete the course and the final case study.

What are the entry requirements? There are no specific entry requirements for this qualification; however, there is a considerable amount of written work to be completed. This will involve reading of supplied reference books, researching specific topics, applying theory to practical scenarios and demonstrating knowledge and understanding through written work. Therefore, candidates for this course should have a good standard of written and verbal communications skills.
